Madrid's social media dominance

After reigning UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid progressed to yet another semi-final after overcoming Chelsea this week, a report was recently released to show that they are the most popular club on social media.

The SafeBettingSites.com report showed that Los Blancos boast a following of 339.5 million followers on the major platforms, with arch rivals following closely with 323.7 million followers.

The report looked at Madrid's following on five platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Weibo, with a bulk of their followers coming from the first two Meta apps, IG and FB.

The newly crowned DStv Premiership champs boast a following of just over 2 million, with Pirates on 3.61 million and Chiefs garnering the most followers with 4.94 million fans on the two popular platforms.
