The story
Bafana Bafana international Cassius Mailula cuts an optimistic figure in his latest Instagram post, where he's exploring the natural beauty of Casablanca.
Mailula joined Rulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic on loan in August to revive his career and reunite with the coach that oversaw his breakthrough into professional football with Mamelodi Sundowns.
So far this season, 'Cash' has made 13 appearances in all competitions, managing a solitary goal in the Botola Pro 1 as he continues to find his feet in North Africa.
Despite his low goal contribution, Mailula is enjoying regular game time and has found his smile again after a difficult stint in Toronto.
The 23-year-old enjoyed "A beautiful day filled with sunshine and smiles," as he pointed out on his recent IG post, getting active with some quad-biking action in a remote area.
