The story

There was plenty of glitz and glamour at the Betway Summer Cup at the Turffontein racecourse in Johannesburg, with some of South African football's biggest names dressing to the nines.

Siphiwe Tshabalala, Katlego Mphela, Oupa Manyisa, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Happy Jele, Brighton Mhlongo, Hlompho Kekana, Lucky Lekgwathi and Lebohang Mokoena were all in attendance at one of Mzansi's premier horse racing events.

Each of the aforementioned stars brought plenty of flavour to the black carpet at the event, with their outfits ranging from daring to safe.

'Cheeseboy' wore a dark green double-breasted suite, which he says, comes from his local tailor, Mohammed, while 'Killer' Mphela rocked a stunning grey three-piece look.

Oupa Manyisa kept things simple with a golf shirt and formal pants look, accessorised by his vintage flat cap, with his fellow ex-Orlando Pirates captains opting for more extravagant ensembles.
