What's the story?

Earlier this month, Ronaldo became the first person in the world to reach 400 million followers on Instagram. As the most followed man on the popular social media network, the football star is head and shoulders above many of the world's most well-known celebrities.

The Most Popular

Ronaldo's popularity is such that he has double the amount of IG fans than all Premier League clubs combined. In fact, Ronaldo has seven times more IG followers than the Red Devils, who boast the highest following among Premier League clubs with 55 million.

That being said, CR7 took to his Insta account where he finally reacted to the news. In uploading a video to his handle, Ronaldo said, "Hi guys, 400 million! Wow! What a number, now I can say Siiiuuu!"

'Its Fantastic'

Well it's fantastic, what a moment for me, you know. Without you this wouldn't be possible so from the bottom of my heart I have to say thank you, keep going like that."

I will share my life with you, all the things with you because you deserve it. So thank you very much and lets do it, 100, 200 millions."

Thank you guys!"
