What's the story?
Maema has been one of Sundowns' star performers this season, as he continues to shine in the star-studded Chloorkop team. In 18 appearances, Maema managed to score four goals, while recording five assists along the way.
That said, it was his performances in November 2021 that caught the eye of the club and was recently rewarded with a 'sleek and stylish' Hyundai Creta, as described by the automaker.
Sleek Stylish
Taking to their Twitter handle, Hyundai said, "A sleek and stylish Hyundai Creta for November's best player, @NeoMaema! Enjoy your ride and congratulations once again @masandawana #Sundowns #HyundaiSundowns,"
In response, Downs quoted their tweet by saying, "Congrats to the @NeoMaema on being awarded player of the Month for November! Billy's scintillating form sees him drive away with a slick @HyundaiSA Creta for the month!"
Hyundai Boys
The Creta is one of the automaker's most popular SUVs, alongside the Tucson and is priced from the R389 500 mark, as seen on their official website.
Maema is not the only star to benefit from Downs sponsorship with Hyundai, with the likes of Rushine De Reuck and Peter Shalulile getting the chance to drive the popular Tucson.
