The story
AmaZulu fullback Wayde Jooste is sporting a spanking new ride from famous German car makers, BMW.
A Beamer may be a popular choice in the PSL but who can blame the former Buccaneer, who fetched the keys to a sleek 1 series on Thursday afternoon.
Jooste is known to primarily drive a black Mini Cooper with red finishings and has been seen driving an Opel Mokka, a Peugeot 3008 SUV and an Isuzu mu-X 3.0 TD LS 4X4, in the previous years.
It's safe to say that the 32-year-old has upgraded his wheels with a BMW 118i M Sport, a ride valued at over R707 000. He was given the keys to this beauty by the BMW Bryanston dealership.
Take a look:
Jooste's Beamer accelerates from 0-100 km/h in around eight seconds with that powerful acceleration comes agile handling with an efficient 1.5l Turbo engine.
This hot hatch offers you a large number of helpful functions, digital services and driver assistance systems, built for a maximum of comfort for the driver.
The technology in this 1 series will have Jooste moving into its parking space independently through Parking Assistant, while the Driving Assistant includes collision warning with a braking function, speed limit assist and radar-based equipment that come with a host of traffic warnings.
This instantly recognisable all-wheel drive is a modern beauty inside and out from BMW and will likely convert Jooste to a full-on BMW man when deciding on future vehicles.
