After delaying his trip to Africa last week, FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi finally made it to Egypt on Tuesday following a tough week of football with the Catalan club!
The Argentine was set to travel to the northern African country last week after the Blaugrana's fixture with Paris Saint-Germain, but delayed his trip after Barca's 4-0 defeat to the French side.
According to the Daily Mail, however, the 29-year-old did eventually stick to his promise as he fulfilled ambassadorial duties in the African country on Tuesday.
Messi has become the face of a campaign that encourages hepatitis C sufferers to get treatment, with the superstar saying on Facebook: "Medication against hepatitis C saves lives, let's put an end to the waiting lists."
Tour n' Cure, the campaign Messi has backed, is said to offer treatment for hepatitis C patients from all over the world "with no waiting time and at a fraction of the cost".
