What's the story?
A number of clubs are still showcasing their playing threads for the current season, with Liverpool being one of the most recent to do so.
New Kits
In fact, earlier this week, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid showcased their new third strip for the 21/22 campaign. The shirt drew striking comparisons to an away jersey Kaizer Chiefs used last season, as pointed out by certain supporters online.
Now though, the 2019/20 Premier League champions revealed their new third kit, which swiftly caught the eye of football fans on social media, namely Twitter and Instagram accounts.
McDeez Chappies
Fans saw the lighter side to its look - the shirt's bright yellow colour and red accents were likened to that of the McDonald's food chain mascot Ronaldo McDonald and the yellow Chappies Bubblegum wrapper.
It can be said that the bulk of the Liverpool fans were less than pleased with the club's latest offering, while the rest of the Twitter space continued to take the banter route.
