Mathoho's New Symbolic Tattoo

Mathoho's New Symbolic Tattoo

Erick Mathoho was the pillar of strength for Kaizer Chiefs last season and he has a new symbolic tattoo to add to his collection of ink designed across his body.

Just hours before the Carling Black Label Cup against Orlando Pirates, Tower took to Instagram to post a picture of his new tattoo.

In the picture below you can make out that there are some roses, praying hands, something that looks like a bee, stars and clouds as well as a brick wall.

I spoke to a tattoo artist to enquire about what the Kaizer Chiefs man's tattoos could mean, and here is a break down of each pattern.

"The rose might symbolize a female in his life – i.e his mother, daughter or girlfriend. If it is a bee, it could mean that the woman in his life's name starts with a 'B'," said the tattoo artist.

"The wall is because he is a defender and his nickname is Tower, which means strength and power… While the clouds are usually just decoration and the stars usually symbolize people in his life. Finally, the praying hands mean that he could be grateful for what has happened in his personal life."

Here is his new tattoo…

What do you think about his new tatt?
