With Cristiano Ronaldo admitting he'd like to have dinner with longstanding rival Lionel Messi one day, a new development has arisen that could make this a reality. Check it out!
At the UEFA Champions League draw last month, Ronaldo surprised many by claiming he hoped to have dinner with the Argentine superstar one day.
The two sat alongside each other at the recent UEFA awards gala as "CR7" told BT Sports: "We have not had dinner together yet, but I hope so in future. It's great to be a part of the history of football. I am there and, of course, he is as well."

Seemingly as a result, 10 fine dining restaurants in Vilnius, Lithuania, have since offered the two football superstars a chance to have dinner together.
According to Ni Travel News, the mayor of Vilnius, Remigijus Simasius, said: "Ronaldo's recently expressed wish to sit down with Lionel Messi for dinner was heard by the gastronomic community of Vilnius. There are plenty of reasons why Ronaldo and Messi should dine in our city. Restaurants in Vilnius have been building up their reputation internationally, leaving visitors blown away by the quality of local food and the originality of the chefs. Besides, we, as a city, want to demonstrate our hospitality by extending this invitation to the star player."
In addition, a Lithuanian artist by the name of Jolita Vaitkute created a piece of artwork that depicted the two five-time Ballon d'Or winners having dinner, and images thereof went viral earlier this week.
