What's the story?
In 2018, Nike produced some of their finest work for the Nigeria National Teams, an unforgettable home and away strip that sold out online in next to no time.

It appears that Nike's latest designs for Nigeria continue to push the boundaries like it did in 2018.
The ever-reliable kit leakers, Footy Headlines, revealed the 2022 Nigeria home and away jerseys.
New Naija kit
The maximalist designed home kit features a silhouette of an Eagle and almost a collage of other interesting patterns.
The kit follows Nike's 2022 design formula that's been used on their various Club and International sides. The jersey has dark green cuffs and no apparent colour, with the Nike logo standing out in stark white.
The home kit is completed by white shorts and dark green socks.
The away kit is also a thing of beauty. It may not reach the levels of the popular 2018 away kit but also has a unique design.

The sleeves have what looks like a traditional pattern in black and white. A green colour along with the cuffs neaten up the simple but elegant jersey.

2018 Nigeria kit
As nice as the designs were for the 2020 home and away kits for Nigeria, the 2018 designs are still regarded as a modern classic.
While the previous kit didn't live up to the 2018 hype, the Nike's 2022 efforts come closest to their unbelievable work for the previous World Cup.
The 2018 kits, designed by Matthew Wolf, the American graphic designer who worked on South Africa's 2019 national team kits, was a certified show-stopper.
The campaign that featured Premier League stars Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, as well as Afrobeats superstar WizKid.
The abstract design on the away kit and the dark, illuminating nature of the home kit made it arguably Nike's best design at the Russia World Cup.
As described on Matthew Wolf's website, "The 2018 Nigeria home kit was iconic before it even took the pitch."
A tough act to follow for the new 2022 kits.
