Jose Mourinho Vs Arsene Wenger

Jose Mourinho Vs Arsene Wenger

Mourinho and Wenger

From a neutral's perspective, it may be the best string of entertainment that we've seen from two managers. The constant bickering and name calling has inspired the Fan Park Crew to take Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger away from the sidelines for a moment, and put them in the ring!

Ready... Fight!

Round One – Mourinho Calls Wenger A "Specialist In Failure"

Last season, the Portuguese manager threw punches at Wenger, publicly calling him a "specialist in failure", and what happened? Chelsea didn't manage to win any silverware that season, while Arsenal won their first trophy in nine – which we admit is a poor return, but the perfect response from a tight-lipped Wenger.

Round winner: Wenger

Round Two – Wenger Pushes Mourinho

While Chelsea were beating Arsenal 2-0 in the first round of Premier League fixtures, an altercation on the sidelines had fans and pundits in stitches. After a tackle from Gary Cahill on Alexis Sanchez, a wound up Arsene Wenger pushed Jose Mourinho after the two were standing head to head, while it appeared that 'The Special One' was showing Wenger where his chair was – perhaps advising him to have a seat. He later apologised, saying he was provoked.

Round winner: draw

Round Three – Mourinho Opens His Mouth Again

In an interview with Sky Sports, Mourinho threw another verbal punch at Wenger, saying that the Frenchman has not won as many trophies at Arsenal as he should have with the strong squads he has always had at his disposal, and said that some managers dream of having the stability that the Arsenal boss has. We are waiting from a response from Wenger, but does he really have a leg to stand on?

Round winner: Mourinho

We feel that there may be many more rounds to add to this ongoing fight, who do you think will have the last laugh? Give us your thoughts!
