The GOAT debate is subjective in both music and football, for many, the criteria is based on accolades while others look personal accolades and other achievements.
In hip-hop, there's many that consider the Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur as their GOATS, modern day listeners have the likes of J. Cole and Drake in their top two.
Similarly in football, older fans might regard the late greats Diego Maradona and Pelé as the greatest the beautiful game has ever seen. Younger fans put Ronaldo and Messi in that category.
So to see two sets of GOATS crossing over in a way is a big deal, with J. Cole and Drake collaborating on the Canadian star's newly released single "First Person Shooter" — with the two rap titans referencing a Ronaldo and Messi's Louis Vuitton campaign from November last year.
That LV campaign for CR7 and Leo basically left the football world at a standstill! The campaign scored big online, garnering over 42 million likes from Ronaldo's Instagram post alone.
It currently sits fourth in the most liked Instagram posts of all time, with two Messi 2022 FIFA World Cup celebration posts taking two places in the top three.
