Thuso Phala is officially retired from professional football after representing Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Black Leopards.

Other than his lower sense of gravity and dynamisms on the pitch, Phala had a pretty unique dance move that swept the streets in 2018 and 2019, with President Cyril Ramaphosa also attempting it at a stage.

Remember the Thuso Phala dance?

38-year-old winger Thuso Phala officially announced his retirement from professional football on the Marawa Sport Show on Wednesday.

In light of his retirement, we look back on Phala's trademark dance move which he popularised during his successful spell at Matsatsantsa.

The Thuso Phala dance requires you to do a shimmy with your shoulders, ushering one of them in a forward and backward motion before jolting yourself up and down, continuing the complicated shoulder movement.
