The story
The eagerly anticipated Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is set to feature some of the Betway Premiership's proudest Volkswagen owners.
From Tebogo Potsane to Thabiso Monyane, the Buccaneers and the Glamour Boys employ stars who have an eye for either the snazziest GTi or the cleanest POLO.
The aforementioned ballers have both customised their rides with eye-catching rims and lowered the suspension, transforming their rides into a drag racer's dream.
The likes of Relebohile Mofokeng and Pule Mmodi are on that VW Polo GTi wave, with the former receiving his wheels around July last year, just reward for his incredible form on the pitch for the Sea Robbers.
