Five Influential Football Agents From Around The Globe

Five Influential Football Agents From Around The Globe

We have being hearing a lot of talk from player agents over the last two days, so the Fan Park Crew thought it would be appropriate to bring you five of the most influential football agents on the planet.

Jorge Mendes

In many peoples' eyes, Jorge Mendes is the world's only super agent, as he has some of the best connections in world football.  His prized asset at the moment is Cristiano Ronaldo, but he also represents Angel Di Maria, David De Gea, Radamel Falcao and Jose Mourinho.

Paul Stretford

Streford might not have all the big names like Mendes, but he does represent Wayne Rooney, who is now the Manchester United and England Captain. Some say he masterminded Rooney's two transfer requests with the Red Devils. Streford also represents the likes of Roberto Mancini and Harry Redknapp.

Pere Guardiola

Pere is the brother of Pep Guardiola, and it has been reported that he was the reason for many of Barcelona's youth signings back when his brother was still in charge. He is his brother's agent, but also manages Luis Suarez and Thiago Alcántara.

Mino Raiola

Mino Raiola has been in the news lately for taking a few jabs at Pep Guardiola, but the Italian is probably the closest competition to Jorge Mendes. Railoa has a number of clients, including the likes of Paul Pogba, Mario Ballotelli, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku.

Tim Sukazi

Tim is a local agent who currently works for QT Sports, and in previous fan park pieces we have shown that he once had more than 10 players in the Bafana AFCON camp. He is currently managing the likes of Thuso Phala, Rivaldo Coetzee, Bongani Ndulula and probably his most popular player right now, Eric Mathoho.

Which is your favourite agent?
