The 20-year-old's transfer to Camp Nou was confirmed on Friday evening, in a deal worth €105 million (R1.5 billion) – the same figure spent by Manchester United for Paul Pogba's record breaking fee a year ago. The deal could rise by 40% due to add-ons, taking it to a potential €147m (R2.2 billion)
In the year spent at the club, Dembele worked his way into the fans' hearts, and his name was seen across the back of many young boys shoulders.
Naturally, the fans were left upset about the Frenchman's exit from the club, and one fan decided to replace Dembele's name on the back of his jersey by sticking over the transfer fee.
