The footballer turned pundit appears to be even more popular now than he was during his time as a player. Interviewing top footballers, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, and weighing in on matchdays, Rio has become something of a television personality.
So much so that luxury vehicle manufacturer Aston Martin decided to enter into a partnership with the former Manchester United defender, and he took to his Instagram page to announce this.

It's nice to see that things are looking up for Rio as he has suffered a rather difficult past few years, losing his wife to cancer and then his mother shortly after.
