EPL's Most Potent Goal Scorers

EPL's Most Potent Goal Scorers

Today, we rank the English Premier League's players that have the best minutes per goal ratios.

Didier Drogba (Chelsea) – 96.3 minutes per goal

Drogba was brought in for a second spell at Chelsea this summer and the 36-year-old was obviously intended to be an impact players. Despite making 16 appearances for the club, he's been a substitute on 14 occasions and has scored three goals that have shown he still has a lot to offer his club.

Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) – 92 minutes per goal

The French striker's broken foot injury, sustained early on in the season meant that he was a huge miss for Arsenal. But in the nine appearances he's made, having returned at the end of the year, he has scored five times, showing that he may be the missing link in Arsenal's team.

Sergio Aguero (Man City) – 75.2 minutes per goal

Aguero's the only man on our list that has actually been scoring regularly and has seen more than his fair share of action. He's just THAT good! His 14 Premier League goals have come in 15 appearances (two off the bench). Unfortunately, he's going to be out of action for a while still and we will only get to see his incredible work up front at the back end of this season.

Frank Lampard (Man City) – 72.4 minutes per goal

Wouldn't it be ironic if Frank Lampard becomes the man to help Manchester City beat Chelsea to the Premier League title this season? The veteran midfielder has only played 364 minutes in the Premier League, coming off the bench 12 times. But he's scored five very important goals, including an equalizer against his former club that could prove pivotal to the title race.

Papiss Cissé (Newcastle) – 70.3 minutes per goal

Newcastle's Senegalese striker currently boasts the best minute per goal ratio in this season's Premier League, having scored nine times in just 635 minutes this season. He has certainly made an impact when he's been on the pitch.

And that's the end of our list. It's amazing to think how well these guys have performed with limited time.

Who do you think is the most dangerous man in our list?
