The story
Former Kaizer Chiefs man Daniel Cardoso sat down with Lorenz Köhler on 10Bet South Africa's "The Bettor Pod" to speak about where he finds himself in his career at the moment.
The two chatted about the current climate at Sekhukhune United, who were guided to a fourth-place finish in the DStv Premiership by coach the suspended Lehlohonolo Seema.
Cardoso gave credit to Seema for helping Babina Noko secure a comfortable position in the league this campaign, finishing just five points behind second-place Orlando Pirates and third-place Stellenbosch FC.

Cardoso also touched on his time at Kaizer Chiefs, a club he joined in 2015 and departed in 2022 and sadly for him, went without a trophy at the Glamour Boys.
When asked about his future, the 35-year-old was open and honest with the fact that he doesn't have much time left at the top level of South African football.
"Still another two or three years hey," stated Cardoso when asked on how many years he has left in the beautiful game.
"This season I think I missed three PSL games and in Africa I didn't play much, we were obviously saving ourselves for the league. But yeah, I'll give myself another two or three years, depending on how my body feels and how the recovery goes, but I still feel fit and strong. I'm nowhere near ready to retire," he shared.
The ex-Glamour Boy managed 33 appearances in all competitions for Sekhukhune and despite being in the Twilight years of his career, he's likely to do it all again next season.
Cardoso's longevity in Mzansi's top flight is a result of discipline and sacrifice. He's managed to stay on top of his nutrition, the way he trains and of course, not partying like a rockstar.
"Look, I think just in general with things like partying, going out and drinking does kill a lot of the players. I mean, we're training everyday so you can't home and sip on a beer, you can't go home and do the wrong things.
"So, I think eating the right things, watching your nutrition, watching how you train and how you manage yourself, doing ice baths, the list goes on. Anything after 30 is when you start looking after yourself. When I was about 29, I opened my eyes and realised I can make my career longer than what it needs to be," says Cardoso.
