Whether it's hugging the touchline and whipping in crosses, or cutting inside and having a crack at goal, the right winger is one of the most important components in a squad's attack.
Today the Fan Park crew will take a look at some of the best right wingers in the league at present, and how they have progressed this season.
Mandla Masango – Kaizer Chiefs
'Bullet' as he is known in football circles, has really come into his own at the club after being transfer listed at the beginning of the current Premier Soccer League campaign. His impressive form has even caught the eye of overseas-based scouts, and it remains to be seen if Masango will leave Chiefs at the end of the season for a move abroad.
Sameehg Doutie – Bidvest Wits
The former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United winger has always been one of the country's top talents, and now plying his trade with Wits, Doutie seems to be hitting top form for Gavin Hunt's charges.
Elias Pelembe – Mamelodi Sundowns
Dominguez set the PSL alight during his time at SuperSport United, earning him a big money move to Mamelodi Sundowns. Even at the age of 31, Pelembe is still known as one of the best wingers in the PSL and will no doubt be a key figure in Downs' title charge this season.
Khama Billiat – Mamelodi Sundowns
The Zimbabwean has been a stand out player for Downs in the last couple of seasons and his performances have not gone unnoticed. French giants Lille OSC are said to monitoring the player's progress and he could well be on his way to France in the near future.
