What's the story?
Representing the history of Italia through design, adidas has finally unveiled its new kits for the Italian national team.
The Azzure's new blue and white kits come with 'The Search' or 'La Ricerca' collection, and the campaign features shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma and 2006 World Cup winner, Alessandro Del Piero.

Italy x adidas
This new partnership signals a new era for Italian football, and adidas has kicked things off in sublime style.
Using a marble texture, the adidas designs evoke the imagery of traditional?Italian craftsmanship that pay homage to the proud footballing country.
As per Soccer Bible and Hypebeast - the design of both home and away kits use marble as a way to recognise Italian culture and its beauty.

The jerseys and the collection also aims to honour the history of Italian football and the identity of the country by integrating players of the past and present, with an eye for the future.
As mentioned above, PSG's Donnarumma, and Juventus legend Del Piero feature in the campaign sees them 'search' and admire the new home kit.
Unsurprisingly, the home jersey comes in blue, with intricate marble detailing. The jersey is complete with gold touches on the collar and cuffs, along with Italian Tricolor details that are applied to the sides.
The marble inspiration is clear as day on the white away kit, with navy being used for the details to pop more.
The rest of the adidas x Italy range works well with the jerseys - with pieces including an adidas Anthem Jacket, training gear in navy and white along with an unreal pre-match jersey that comes with a white base and splashed with red and green to creatively reimagine the Italian tricolours.
