It was a chance for Mourinho to stamp his authority on the team after Pogba requested to be transferred. So in short it was a must win game for United.

It felt like our play was slow or that we just could not keep up.

Take nothing away from Derby, they absolutely deserved their win and if not for some goalkeeping heroics, the scoreline would have been flattering.

Not to say that we did not have our chances (Lukaku specifically. He needs to rest), but it did not feel like we could hold out. I do not know what the future holds for United as we are going through a tremulous period in our history but I know something will eventually give.

All in all not the best of performances from the team when we needed it most.
