Pirates caught many a fans off guard when they confirmed the signatures of Brilliant Khuzwayo, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Asavela Mbekile, Linda Mntambo, Paseka Mako, Abel Mabaso, Meschack Maphangule and Kudakwashe Mahachi all at once. While alot of us expected only Brilliant Khuzwayo to join the team we didnt expect the other 8 players. It remains to be seen whether the other players have a role to play or they will be waiting in the wings for other players in their position to loose form or get injured as the team was doing well last season and no one expected the team to get alot of players as it might destroy the foundation laid down last season. Their is talk in town of Thulani Hlatshwayo joining the team, will all have to wait for the new season to see how it all pens out.
