The story
Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Marshall Munetsi completed a stunning move to English Premier League side, Wolves, with his ex-club commemorating his move with a lovely video.
The 28-year-old switched from French Ligue 1 outfit, Stade Reims to what is widely regarded as the best league in the world during Europe's transfer window deadline day on Monday.
Wolverhampton Wanderers secured Munetsi's signature by signing him to a three-and-a-half-year deal with an additional 12-month extension option.
Munetsi joins after making 159 appearances for Reims since his arrival in 2019 from the Buccaneers, with his transfer valued at over R400 million, a new record for Zimbabwean players.
The midfielder made quite the lasting impression at Les Rouges et Blancs over the last six years and his farewell video featured a compilation of his best goals during his spell in France.

Off the pitch, Munetsi has grown immensely. From his work with the Marshall Munetsi Foundation to joining the FIFPRO's Global Player Council in 2023, the Zimbabwe international is dedicated to giving back.
"One of the main reasons I joined the council was to help address the issue of fake agents. It is a subject I'm passionate about and it is a subject that has become a big challenge, especially in Africa," said Munetsi in an article published by FIFPRO.
"Coming from Zimbabwe, I have seen friends and former teammates lose a lot of money – money they worked hard to earn, money their parents worked hard to earn – due to people pretending to be a football agent. I saw this a lot when I played in South Africa," he added.
While at Reims, Munetsi donated 10 percent of his earnings to his foundation, which helps provide an education for underprivileged children in Zimbabwe.
His former club also introduced a clause in his contract that would see them donate a further 100 Euros for every kilometre ran by Munetsi during play.
On a more personal front, the baller started a family after marrying his long-time partner, Anotida Makove and had their first child in the process.
