According to RMC Sport transfer expert Fabrice Hawkins, Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement with Stade Reims over the acquisition of Marshall Munetsi.
The Zimbabwean has been a pivotal part of the Ligue 1 side ever since his move to France from the Buccaneers in 2019.
In the five and a half years that the Zimbabwean international has been plying his trade with the Red and Whites, the central midfielder has played 159 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 14 assists.
His prominence within the club has seemingly grown during the 2024/25 campaign, with the Harare native captaining Reims on four occasions.
Wolves have seemingly taken notice of the 28-year-old's performances in France and are looking to complete a deadline-day deal for the box-to-box midfielder.
Transfermarkt currently values Munetsi at €10 million (R193 million), but the same report states that the West Midlands side and their French counterparts have reached an agreement on a transfer fee worth €20 million, as the English club look to bolster their squad with the 23-cap international.

Should the transfer come to fruition, the former Pirates star will be joining his international teammate Tawanda Chirewa at Molineux Stadium, as the attacker returned to the club this mid-season window after his loan stint at Derby County.
It is, however, understood that before allowing Munetsi to leave, Reims want to find a suitable replacement.
