From Chiefs To Dallas: MLS Journey Extended

FC Dallas have made a major move to secure the future of South African midfielder Katlego 'Tsiki' Ntsabeleng, announcing that the former Kaizer Chiefs player has signed a contract extension through to the 2026 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, with club options for 2027 and 2028.

A key milestone in this deal is that Ntsabeleng will no longer occupy an international slot, thanks to obtaining his U.S. Green Card in March 2024.

Ntsabeleng joined FC Dallas in 2022 after being selected 28th overall in the MLS SuperDraft from Oregon State University. In his debut MLS season, he quickly proved his worth, featuring in 27 matches and starting eleven of them.

His debut season was highlighted by a memorable moment on April 23, 2022, when he scored his first professional goal against Texas Derby rivals Houston Dynamo FC.

In 2024, Ntsabeleng continued to solidify his place in the squad, playing in 25 matches, including appearances in the Leagues Cup and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. He also made significant strides, starting 11 games and logging a career-high 1082 minutes of play, showcasing his growing influence on the field.

This contract extension ensures that the promising midfielder will remain with the club for the foreseeable future, allowing him to continue his development in MLS.
