Man Utd 'Make Decision' on R910millon Bid For Garnacho

Manchester United have reportedly a decision on the £40million bid for Alejandro Garnacho from one of Europe's big teams.

Reports surfaced last week that the Red Devils could potentially be forced to sell Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo to comply with the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules.

The Red Devils already had to sell Scott McTominay in the last transfer window while selling another homegrown player other than Marcus Rashford could also bring in a big fee.

However, Manchester Evening News have reported that the Manchester outfit have rejected Napoli's opening bid of £40million (R910 millon) for the Argentine.

The report adds that United value the Copa America winner at around €97.4million, but it remains to be seen if the Serie A outfit will pay that amount.

Amorim did speak about Garnacho and his future, having spent some time on the bench.

"He has talent. He finds the best way to play in this system. He is making progress in training. He started in the last match. We'll see what happens in the game against Southampton. I think he has changed his perception of himself.

"He needs to learn to play in another position. He needs to operate better in the center. He has significantly improved his positional play when losing the ball. However, because of this, he sometimes ends up in the wrong place to make transitions, as he did before.

"I prefer to defend first and then as a team build up the play into the final third of the field."
