Orlando Pirates appear to have given a hint about Zakhele Lepasa's future in the club's update ahead of the next match.

The Buccaneers are scheduled to take on Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy in Orlando on Saturday in the second leg of their second preliminary round CAF Champions League tie.

The Soweto giants won 2-0 in the first leg last weekend.

In their update ahead of the clash, Bucs confirmed that Lepasa is one of the injured players along with Goodman Mosele. In recent weeks, there has been speculation around Lepasa's future at the club due to his lack of regular game-time.

The 27-year-old's last appearance for Bucs was in April against Moroka Swallows.

With their update, Pirates appear to have hinted that there is no planned deal for Lepasa prior to tonight's transfer window deadline despite reports linking the Bafana Bafana forward with a loan move.

"Zakhele Lepasa and Goodman Mosele remain on the mend after sustaining ankle and knee injuries respectively, while a return to action looms for Paseka Mako who recently resumed full training," confirmed Bucs on the club's official website.
