The story

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder, Siphiwe Tshabalala recently made a donation that will greatly benefit the people that help protect the Phiri neighbourhood in Soweto.

Shabba, who is hosting the annual Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation Soccer Challenge in Soweto, handed over some clothing and other essentials to the Phiri Crime Prevention Patrollers.

The donation was made through Shabba's donation, with the legendary midfielder also thanking Betway, insinuating they helped him out with the kind gesture.

Reflector jackets, torches, scarfs, large puffer jackets and gloves were some of the items donated to the Phiri Crime Prevention Patrollers, which are pivotal tools for any patrol team that works nightly this winter.

"The @siphiwetshabalalafoundation handed over clothing and other essential tools to Phiri Crime Prevention Patrollers. They continue to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our streets and the kids currently camping in a school. As'bonge @betway," wrote Shabba on IG.
