A few days after their defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, Tanzanian giants Young Africans have been hit with a ban from FIFA.
Young Africans were already upset with the manner in which they were eliminated in the CAF Champions League by Sundowns last week, lodging an official complaint to CAF the following day.

However, the Tanzanian club have something new deal with as they have been hit with a transfer ban after breaking FIFA regulations, according to the Tanzanian Football Federation,
Statement:
The Young Africans club in the NBC Premier League has been banned from registering for violating the rules of International Football Federation (FIFA).
The decision has been made by FIFA after the club violated Annex 3 of the Regulation on the Transfer of Players (RSTP) of the Federation.
Among other issues, Young Africans did not enter the transfer payment confirmation of the player concerned in the Registration System (TMS), despite being reminded to do so.
The club has been required to implement the statutory requirements, and submit information to the Secretariat
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee where the matter has been referred for further action.
Due to FIFA's decision, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has also banned the club from registering local players.
