It was the teenager's first goal for the national side and in just his third senior appearances.

In doing so, Endrick became youngest-ever player to score an international goal at Wembley Stadium.

However, Endrick is only the fourth youngest player to score for the Brazil men's national side as Pele continues to hold the record after scoring his first goal for his country at at the age of 16.

The 17-year-old could not contain his happiness after the game with his family and friends in the stands.

"My family is here, my girlfriend, my agents. I am not much of a crier, I am holding myself, but this is something unique and I am very happy," Endrick said, as per AP.

Endrick will officially join Real Madrid next season when he turns 18.
