Young Africans Chief Wary Of Tau Threat In CAF CL

As Tanzanian giants Young Africans prepare to face Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League on Friday evening, one of the club's executives has hailed Percy Tau as the opposition's most dangerous player.

This weekend, the east African giants will travel to Cairo for the fourth time in their history to face the Club of the Century in the continent's top club competition.

The two sides have both already secured qualification for the quarter-finals, but with Yanga only a point behind their Egyptian counterparts, they will be looking to grab their first-ever win at the Cairo International Stadium and claim top honours in Group D.

Speaking to Yallakora, Young Africans vice-president Arafat Ally Haji was asked what his team's intentions going into the match are, to which he replied: "Qualifying for the next round will certainly give us comfort during the match, but we did not come to Cairo for a picnic.

"Our goal is to achieve victory over Al Ahly at Cairo Stadium and top our group. Also, our victory over Al Ahly, in the middle of its home field and in front of its fans, will be a historic result for us."

The record Tanzanian champions have only ever scored once against the Red Devils at their home ground, and while Haji claims that his team will be gunning for a victory, he is wary about the threat that Tau will pose, regarding the South African as Ahly's most dangerous player.
