Official: Ex-Bucs Star Joins Saudi Club

A former Orlando Pirates striker has landed a new club in Saudi Arabia a couple days after the transfer window closed.

Zambian forward Justin Shonga has penned a deal with third division side Najran SC.

The 27-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a short-term deal with the club until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

"The management of #????? Club, headed by Mr. Hadi Al-Kulaib, has completed the procedures for contracting with Zambian striker Justin Shonga, with a contract extending until the end of the current season, with the option of extending for another additional season," the club announced on social media.

Shonga was last on the books of Georgian outfit FC Gagra, where he registered two goals and three assists in 16 appearances, according to transfermarkt.
