With Itumeleng Khune currently serving his suspension and Kaizer Chiefs not totally sure of his return date, the club is set to make plans to bolster their first team in the goalkeeping department, the Siya crew understands.
Siya sources have indicated how the promotion and registration of a young goalkeeper from their DStv Diski Challenge team is the solution.

The player in question is 20-year-old Lungile Nkosi who will be next in line, normally after all of Bruce Bvuma, Brandon Petersen and Khune. However, with Petersen's form in question from earlier in the season and Khune's disciplinary problem lately, the goalkeeping position requires strengthening.
Bontle Molefe is Amakhosi's other option, so Nkosi's registration will move him up to compete with the other first team keepers. At the moment Bvuma has overtaken the other keepers for a spot in the starting line-up and has grabbed that opportunity with two clean sheets.
Siya sources have added that with the noted challenges among other keepers, Nkosi's promotion could be much faster than expected, while Soccer Laduma had previously reported how Nkosi was tipped for a contract.
"For now management and the technical team have agreed that the young goalkeeper Lungile (Nkosi) should be registered with the first team. They don't want to be caught off guard if things don't work out with Khune since he is suspended," said the Siya source.
"You are aware Lungile has been training with the first team for some time now and the technical team is convinced that he can do the job if a push comes to shove," the source said.
A second Siya source stated that the club wants the youngster to gain experience with the first team squad going forward.
"They are making sure that the culture of the club continues how in the past they had goalkeepers like Brian Baloyi and Itumeleng Khune himself coming through from the development and they have done it with Bruce Bvuma now," said the second Siya source.
"They want to continue with that trend. To do that they want Lungile to be full-time with the senior team and mainly now when there is nothing happening with the DDC league," the source observed.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received while preparing this story.
