Another manager in the Premier League has officially been sacked, just two weeks after the first tactician lost his job in England's top division this season.

Earlier this month, Sheffield United parted ways with Paul Heckingbottom following the club's difficult start to the 2023/24 campaign, and a second Premier League boss has now been relieved of his duties.
On Tuesday evening, Nottingham Forest confirmed the departure of 44-year-old English manager Steve Cooper, who had held the post since September 2021.

Club owner Evangelos Marinakis thanked the former England youth coach for the work he did at the City Ground and wished him well for his future plans.
"Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to thank Steve for his superb contribution to our football club. His achievement in guiding Forest back to the Premier League will undoubtedly remain an iconic moment in the Club's history," he said, according to the club's website.
"We thank Steve for his dedication and commitment during his time with us, as well as the incredible connection he forged with our supporters and the city of Nottingham.
"Steve will always remain a friend of the Club and will forever be welcome at The City Ground. We wish him well in his future endeavours."

Cooper oversaw 108 matches as Forest manager, winning 43 games across all competitions.
