LaLiga champions FC Barcelona have reportedly been keeping tabs on another coach as a potential successor for Xavi Hernandez.
Xavi remains in charge of the Catalan giants despite the club's difficulties over the last few games, which has left the side in third position on the LaLiga table.

However, Spanish publication Bar Canaletes has reported that Barcelona has identified Girona tactician Michel Sanchez as a potential future manager for the club.
Under the guidance of Sanchez, Girona currently sit top of the LaLiga table, four points ahead of third-place Barcelona after 13 matches.
The report adds that the Catalan outfit have already contacted the Girona tactician about succeeding Xavi in the future after his impressive work in the last couple seasons.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta, however, says he and the board have great confidence in Xavi.
"I see it well. We are in the ointment, this is very important. We are very situated in the Champions and in LaLiga," Laporta said, as per FCBN.
"I want to leave very clear, as it has left it Deco and directors of my board, that are totally at the side of our trainer and that it is a pride have to Xavi of trainer by his professional and human quality".
