Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos says he hopes that his players can mirror the passion showed by their rugby counterparts, the Springboks when they take on Ivory Coast on Tuesday.

It appears that the Belgian mentor, like the rest of the country, watched from afar as Rassie Erasmus' men booked their spot in the 2023 Rugby World Cup semi-finals with a gallant win over host nation, France.
While Bafana are not quite playing in a World Cup just yet, Broos says he hopes they can show the same passion in their international friendly against Ivory Coast following a dull display against Eswatini.
"I think it's quite easy to turn that [performance against Eswatini] around because in the past they have shown that they can do it in a different way. So, the qualities are there, it's not a question of quality. I think it was more a question of mentality and underestimating the opponent. We were not ready from the beginning of the game, and we had more and more problems against an opponent like this," he told SAFA's media department.
"I'm rather confident now because tomorrow they know they play against Ivory Coast so from the beginning already they will be more focused on the opponent and on the game than on Friday.
"I don't agree with that because they are professionals, they have to do it in every game and when you see yesterday, the other South African team [the Springboks], the passion and the way they are playing the game, I think we have a lot to learn about it," he added.
