Having not played professional football for more than a year, Mason Greenwood's debut date for his new side has reportedly been revealed.

The 21-year-old has not played a match since Manchester United's 2-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League in January 2022.
The Bradford native was arrested shortly after that on suspicion of attempted rape, assault and coercive control, and was subsequently suspended by the Mancunians as a result.
His suspension continued, even after the Crown Prosecution Service announced that they had dropped all charges pertaining to the case in February this year, until 21 August, when the Red Devils released a statement in which they revealed they would help Greenwood take his career away from Old Trafford.
In the last hours of the latest transfer window, the England international completed a move to LALIGA side Getafe on a season-long loan deal, and according to The Sun, the young star has impressed in training with his new team and is now poised to make his debut against Osasuna this Sunday.
Azulones have been very active in promoting the Englishman's signing, having posted numerous videos of his arrival as well as releasing footage from training of the attacker, with one source informing the aforementioned publication that many of his teammates have been welcoming of the forward.

"Mason was very nervous about how he would be received by his new teammates and his coaches, but they have been very welcoming to him," the source said.
"He feels relaxed in their company and a couple of the Spanish lads have taken him under their wing."
