On Monday, the Gunners confirmed their European "A list" team ahead of the start of the continent's biggest club competition.

Arsenal qualified for the Champions League after finishing second in the Premier League in the 2022/23 campaign, just five points behind treble winners Manchester City.

The squad includes 18-year-old left-back Lino Sousa, who is yet to make his senior debut for the club, with Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka among those headlining Arsenal's return to the competition.

Here is the Gunners' "A list" squad:

Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, David Raya, James Hillson

Defenders: Cedric, Lino Sousa, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White, Gabriel, Jakub Kiwior, William Saliba

Midfielders: Mohamed Elneny, Jorginho, Thomas Partey, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe

Forwards: Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus

Changes can only be made to the "A list" before the round of 16 in February, while the "B list" can be submitted prior to every fixture in the tournament.

"A player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, January 1 2002 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players aged 16 may be submitted if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years)," the club's website reads.
