There was also no love lost for SAFA president Danny Jordaan, who's become a trending topic as Banyana are now expecting a hefty bonus for making it to the Round of 16:
I'm so happy for Banyana Banyana yazi, especially after what Danny Jordaan and his goons put those women through on the eve of the World Cup. This is a great achievement for them.

Danny Jordaan seeing the Banyana result. The debit orders are coming baba ???? pic.twitter.com/xwz8rOKHMq
— Ryan Schutte ?? ? (@RyanSchutte03) August 2, 2023
Each Banyana player is now supposed to get more than R1.1 million each (before tax) for making the Last 16. It's a FIFA investment for the Women's game. I'm steady pondering about the excuse Danny Jordaan will come up with this time to deny the ladies THEIR money. ?? ?? pic.twitter.com/Xm8eVgiIUU
