Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to hold crucial talks with Algerian captain Riyad Mahrez over the attacker's future at Manchester City.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Spanish tactician wants the 32-year-old attacker to stay at the Etihad Stadium amid massive interest from the Saudi Pro League.
The recent treble winners are said to be bracing themselves for a £30 million (R707 million) bid for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations winner from Pitso Mosimane's former side Al Ahli.
The Middle Eastern club are rumoured to have offered the French-born winger a weekly wage of £450 000 (R10.6 billion), which is triple his current £150 000 (R3.5 million) weekly salary. The same report does claim that Mahrez is considering the offer as he has been displeased with his game time at the back end of this past season.
The 2016 CAF Men's Player of the Year was an unused sub in both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League finals and consequently wants assurances from his manager about playing time if he is to commit his long-term future to City.

Should he opt against extending with the Premier League giants, he will join an Al Ahli side which has already managed to lure two stars of the English topflight in Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Brazil international Roberto Firmino.
