Real Madrid Star 'Confirms' Ancelotti's Next Move

Eder Militao seems to have confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will become Brazil's next manager.

A Real Madrid star has seemingly confirmed which job Carlo Ancelotti is going to take when his contract at Los Blancos expires at the end of the coming season.

Earlier this week, Brazilian Football Confederation president Ednaldo Rodrigues appeared to suggest that his organisation had reached an agreement with Carlo Ancelotti to be Tite's permanent successor for Brazil's national team.

Rodrigues has been pursuing the Italian tactician for some time, perhaps due to his relationship with many of the players in the Selecao's current squad on top of his expertise and experience as a top-level manager.

While Ancelotti himself has not yet announced that he has accepted the role ahead of the expiration of his deal in Madrid, centre-back Eder Militao, a regular for Los Blancos and Brazil, appears to have confirmed the news.

"He was always joking with the Brazilian players in the squad but at the same time we kept it quiet because it's delicate," he said, according to Managing Madrid.

"He's our coach in Real Madrid and he will be our coach in Brazil, he's happy and excited and will give his very best, for sure. He's one of the greatest coaches of all time."

Ancelotti is widely regarded as one of the game's greatest-ever managers, having claimed 26 trophies in his career to date, including four UEFA Champions League titles.

The 64-year-old's only experience on the touchline in international football dates back to the 1990s, when he worked as an assistant manager for the Italian national team.
