PSG Boss 'Under Arrest'

Current Paris Saint-Germain boss Christophe Galtier has reportedly been placed under arrest for racist and bigoted comments he made about his previous team's squad members.

PSG have endured yet another underwhelming season in which they were able to capture only the 2022/23 Ligue 1 title.

It is for this reason that Galtier is expected to be sacked by the club's board, but it seems the French authorities have decided to give the 56-year-old tactician a more unceremonious exit from the Parc des Princes.

According to The Spectator Index, Galtier has been placed under arrest for discriminatory emails he sent at his previous club, OGC Nice.

The Marseille native was in charge of the French side for a season, but during that time he allegedly complained about his squad as being a "team of scum", where there are "only blacks" and "half the team go to the mosque on Friday" in emails he sent within the club.

The same report claims that he also allegedly added that "there cannot be so many blacks and Muslims" and that the team does not suit him.

It is believed that the ex-centre-back is now in custody of the French authorities as they are expected to commence the investigation into the purported comments made by the PSG manager.

Former Barcelona and Roma manager Luis Enrique is expected to soon take the reins at PSG no matter what the legal outcome of Galtier's arrest is.
