According to L'Equipe, midfielder Bernardo Silva wants to leave the Etihad Stadium and make a sensational return to Ligue 1 with PSG.
There has previously been rumours about the 28-year-old's desire to leave England in search of a new challenge, and now it seems he is getting closer to realising this wish.
The Portugal international is also believed to be Les Parisiens' main target for the upcoming transfer window with the expected departure of Lionel Messi at the end of the season.
Silva spent close to three years playing his football for AS Monaco before joining Pep Guardiola in Manchester, but now the man who introduced him to French football wants to reunite with the decorated midfielder.
Luis Campos, PSG's sporting director, signed the Lisbon native for Monaco for €15.75 million (R327 million) in 2014, and the Benfica academy product repaid the faith placed in him by his compatriot by helping the Red and Whites win their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years in the 2016/17 season.
Now the diminutive Portuguese reportedly wants to return to France, with Kylian Mbappe also believed to be keen to once again playing alongside Silva.
With the duo having played together at Monaco, it appears PSG are willing to fulfil the Mbappe's wish to play with the four-time Premier League winner again in the hope of keeping their superstar Frenchman happy and at the club for as long as possible.
