According to French publication L'Equipe, the 35-year-old trained alone on Monday but will resume collective team training on Tuesday and be available for the PSG's next Ligue 1 game.
Messi was handed a two-match suspension following his unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia last week, a punishment that seems to have now been lifted after his apology on Friday evening.
This means the 35-year-old is likely to be named in PSG's squad to take on Ajaccio in the league on Saturday.
The Argentine has become a divisive figure in France amid frustration from supporters, some of whom protested against the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner in the wake of his recent actions.
Messi was understood to be fulfilling ambassadorial duties in the Middle East as part of his agreement to help promote the country ahead of their bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
It is believed the ex-Barcelona captain did not have permission to travel to Saudi Arabia, a trip that saw him miss a training session following PSG's loss to Lorient at home two weekends ago.
