Ronaldo In 'Bust-Up' With His Own Coaches At Al Nassr

Ronaldo In 'Bust-Up' With His Own Coaches At Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr have been knocked out of another cup competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo has once again made headlines for the wrong reasons in Saudi Arabia, this time after he was reportedly involved in an argument with his own coaches as Al Nassr crashed out of yet another cup competition.

The 38-year-old captained his side on Monday night as they took on Al Wehda in the King Cup of Champions semi-finals, but battled to make an impact on the encounter.

Al Nassr suffered a 1-0 defeat to their opponents, who are lingering near the bottom of the Saudi Pro League table, despite Al Wehda going down to 10 men in the 55th minute.

According to the Daily Mirror, tempers flared as Ronaldo and his colleagues headed for the tunnel at half-time, with the Portuguese forward seen losing his cool with his own coaching staff before eventually making his way to the dressing room.

This is not the first time the ex-Manchester United man has been seen frustrated in Saudi Arabia, after he was accused of making an unsavoury gesture towards fans just last week as Al Nassr lost ground in the title race.

Calls for Ronaldo to be expelled from Saudi Arabian football began trending online as a result, with a lawyer revealing he had filed an official complaint to the relevant authorities.

While he did not face punishment for his actions, things have not exactly been smooth sailing for the five-time Ballon d'Or since his free-agent switch to the Middle East.

Al Nassr have been dumped out of two domestic cup competitions and are currently second in the Saudi Pro League, three points behind leaders Al Ittihad, who have a game in hand.

With 11 goals in 14 matches, Ronaldo has impressed supporters with his usual ruthlessness in front of goal in moments this season, but Al Nassr will be hoping they end the campaign with silverware.
