According to CBS Sports, the Portuguese forward is encouraging the Saudi Arabian giants to appoint a coach he has previously enjoyed enormous success under.

With Rudi Garcia sacked this week, the report claims Ronaldo has asked the club to appoint ex-Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who has not worked since leaving Los Blancos after his second spell in 2021.

It is said that Al Nassr have already made the Frenchman a verbal offer, with Ronaldo believed to be involved in the discussions.

Three of the 38-year-old's five UEFA Champions League titles were won under Zidane, who became the first manager in history to win the competitions three times in a row between 2016 and 2018.

The ex-France captain replaced Rafael Benitez at the Santiago Bernabeu early in 2016, before going on to claim an impressive nine trophies in his first spell, and another two during his second.

While many clubs have reportedly been interested in the 50-year-old, including Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, it remains to be seen if Zidane would be interested in taking his career to the Middle East.
