The latest news out of England suggests that the Reds have decided against moving for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who is said to be valued at more than €100 million (R2 billion).
Bellingham, 19, is considered among the most talented young players in world football, having amassed 127 appearances for BVB and starring for England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
It now appears Liverpool will, instead, move for other midfield targets in a bid to improve their first-team squad amid a difficult 2022/23 campaign, with West Ham United's Declan Rice among those being considered, according to Germany-based journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Rice, who is approaching 50 international caps for the Three Lions and currently captains the Hammers, will reportedly choose not to extend his stay at the club beyond 2024, making the 24-year-old a viable target for several top sides across England.
Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella and Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch are other talented midfielders reportedly being looked at by the Merseyside giants, along with Brighton Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo.
The Ecuadorian went close to joining Arsenal in the January window after handing in a transfer request, but instead penned a new deal at Brighton, perhaps a move from the club to ensure his signature one day brings in a significant amount of money.
