Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a shock move to the Premier League after Inter Milan made a decision on the Chelsea loanee's services.

The Belgian returned to the San Siro at the start of the season on loan after falling out with Thomas Tuchel, who was later sacked in September.

However, Lukaku's second stint with the Nerazzurri has not gone smooth sailing, with the striker scoring just five goals in 19 matches across all competitions.

Inter reportedly have no desire to make the loan permanent and the Belgium international is expected to return to Stamford Bridge.

Spanish news outlet Todo Fichajes have now reported that Aston Villa have emerged as potential destination for the 29-year-old.

Lukaku is said to be keen on staying in Milan next season, although the Italian club have their reservations.

However, former Blues striker Clinton Morrison feels Lukaku could be a good option for Graham Potter next season.

"Romelu Lukaku has gone on loan and there is talk of him coming back,' Morrison told Sky Sports. 'Can he be that focal point?

"If you've got Romelu Lukaku fit, with the players they have brought in who can go and create stuff, he should be able to score goals in that team.

"That's one to watch. If they get Romelu Lukaku back, he will score goals in that Chelsea team for sure."
